Seriously, who really cares?
You care enough to click on a thread about her and post a comment.
If you truly don't care, why are you even on this thread? I'll tell you why... because you DO care, that's why.

Ditto all of this.
I am also a woman and mom with multiple young kids and Gwen is of no interest to me. She is boring and not relatable. She’ll slowly fade away..

Honestly, who cares? She has done absolutely nothing in running, yet received the support of someone who should have. So tired of this obnoxious privileged yuppie getting all the headlines. Move on..
She'll land on her feet in accounting and still make bank without an issue if running doesn't work out. Being a privileged female is a real thing.
yes, so priveleged because she completed a useful degree and then earned a gold medal in the olympics. sheesh

This phrase makes we want to throw up a little bit. It's hard to imagine the psychological toll on someone who was a dominant Olympic Gold MF medalist, whose next step was to try becoming a "fitness influencer."

I have to agree with this. You're an Olympic Gold medalist, just get a f*cking job and stop selling mattresses on Instagram.
Why would you subject yourself to a corporate job when you can be home doing what you want by hocking a few things on instagram. Everyone who works a normal 8-6 job would love to be paid to sell stuff by posting pictures of it on instagram and having the ability to stay home and be with family and friends. Posts like this make no sense and are clearly just misogynistic jealousy.

I imagine that she could have run a 2:25 marathon during her height of being a triathlete. If I were her, I would move somewhere where she could apply her old training in order to achieve her running goals
All the comments that she's done are clueless. She ran 15:08 this year -- that's not "done". Get a coach who knows how to coach the marathon and she'll run low 2:20s.
I actually really respect her for taking the chance to leave triathlon and now to change coaches but still continue to pursue running. Even if she never has a great marathon result, she will know that she gave it everything. How many of us can say we have gone after our goals like that? She is definitely privileged to be able to do this but I always root for her. I think the move away from BTC will be good for her as it will be a better fit for her whole family. Good for her.
Great athlete, but a total head case.
She's crushing it in Triathalon and can stay in that sports.. win another gold medal?
Nope, instead she chooses a ridiculous goal that she has no shot at competing (olympic marathon, 10k).
It's a shame that she has such poor judgement as it leads to her squandering talents

You forgot that she has no major sponsor anymore. She is going to need social media to make some punk change.
Then why are you reading and responding to this thread? You may be a hobby jogger and mom but that is where your similarity to GW ends. Why is she boring to you? She is an Olympian, an elite runner and a generous caring human. You should aspire to this.

Unlike you, my basement-dwelling friend, she has an accounting degree and was a licensed CPA before she was recruited to triathlon by USAT. She will have no trouble getting a financial or consulting position in a major company if she chooses to re-enter the business world.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
