if you are a big track fan you should suck it up and pay $5 per month for peacock. there are several more diamond league meets through september.
totally worth it, unlike the ripoff that is flotrack.

I love it. The down on the infield coverage of the field events is great. No commentary, just the sounds of the meet going on...you can hear the athletes talking too.

Katir in current 12:50/3:28 shape might be ready for something pretty special.
Preparation for the 5k in Tokyo should have his strength on a very high level. put that together with his 1500 speed, and he should be able to stay with mcsweyn without issue.
Millicent Fawcett Mile: Kate goes 4:18/19 & top American. This is her Olympic Trials "REDO" for if Gateshead doesn't go well then her post-Olympic Diamond League participation becomes problematic. A 4:18/19 gets her Pre Classic 1500M consideration in late August despite not competing in the Olympics. I don't see DL 800M opportunities until Zurich in September .... maybe Brussels (particularly since she's Nike).
I kind of like the idea of a Kate Grace DL Part 1 = 800M focus & DL Part II/5th Avenue a 1500M/Mile focus. Kate doesn't look "spent" after her 800 meter races ... perhaps she lacks the finishing speed vs endurance? I think she's ready for a good mile. Let's hope Hassan & Nanyondo both compete and get after a pre-Olympic tune-up & that Kate focuses on racing them versus simply out-kicking Schlachtenhaufen.

Nanyondo is on the start list, but Hassan withdrew days ago.
Has the over under been set for Katir?
7:26?
My bad ... I misread OP ... he was talking about Katir vs Kate

Yeah .... not sure how fast this one is going to go. Maybe not fast at all.

Prediction Katir 7:28.22
All 14 break four minutes, 8 for the first time.
What happened to Wightman?

Gotta blame the Kenyans, even if there wasn't any in the race. Or Katir. Oops, not in the race either.
