why does Katir wear the short sleeve? Looks dumb

Kate Grace takes sole posession of #1 spot in diamond league standings! She had been co-leading with Goule who she beat by one place today. Unbelievable. If she wins the final, does that get her an auto spot in Eugene? I can never keep track of when that is in effect
Woah. Jakob washed? That's tough.
How could Kenya possibly leave this dude off their team? C'mon.
Jakob had the grimace early, Katir is super duper psyched rn! And this guy is running the 5000 in Tokyo!

Still quick though...

Horrid pacing in the women's 800. They asked for 57, and the rabbit went out in 54.8.
I'm sure the ladies who ran PRs / NRs off that pace aren't complaining
None of the women who ran PRs / NRs went out in anywhere close to the 54.8 that the pacer ran. They ran PRs because they IGNORED the pacer.
Can’t see any way Jakob beats Tim. Just better at everything.
3:28.28 by cheruiyot

He looked off, which is saying a lot considering he still ran 3:29.
10 of the top 12 ran PBs. PB for Tim, too.
Sowinski is probably the best pacer on the circuit.
3:28 for Cheruyiot and 3:28 for the Spaniard - a 5 second PB?! Jakob and McSelwyn 3:29
That was a great race. Timmy C definitely takes the edge over Ingebrigtsen for me now for Oly gold, also great run from Katir who has to be a medal threat now

Still would have gone through maybe a second quicker than normal
Jakob looks a little chunky. Too much luggage to carry for 1500m let alone 5K.

Makes it easier for the needle to find the spot.

I mean he lost fair and square. You saw a 3:30 from Simotwo just there. Assuming all 3 Kenyans about that form in a fast race. Have a little injury and run a 3:32 type effort and you’re fourth in Kenya.

Lol, as it stands neither are going to be in the 1500 in Tokyo.

He’s been ill for a month!
Couldn’t go back and check but did mcsweyn refuse to shake jakobs hand?
