I would like Rupp to run 2:04. 57 or faster, So I can stop having to explain why 2:05.38 is the American Record and not Ryan Hall's 2:04.58
Probably would have been better if Rupp had decided to run the race in Spain in December where last year everyone ran crazy fast. Chicago is maybe too close to the Olympic Marathon, but who knows, Some runners recover faster than others, Kawauchi is an EXTREME EXAMPLE, and generally Top Runners recover faster. So I hope he runs well and gets another Olympic Medal in Japan, and an American Record under 2:04.57
