Let me rephrase. At an easy effort, I can do
5, rest, 5 (easy would end up being around 7:50-8 min pace at an even effort)
7 (easy would end up being 8:15-8:25 pace at an even effort, because I have to slow down a little in the beginning)
10 (easy effort would end up being 8:30-9 pace at an even effort, because I have to slow down a little in the beginning)
If I stopped after 7 the last few would prolly be 9+ pace to get to 10
