Which one is more beneficial? 6-10 miles at Marathon pace or 5 miles at lactate threshold pace.

Depends on your goal for the workout and where you are in your build-up. Weekly lactate threshold runs of 4, up to 7 miles have a place in a lot of schedules. When you're read to get more specific, then 10 miles at MP is a great place to start to work towards 12 at MP, then 14 at MP, and then long runs like first 10 at MP+1min/mile followed by 10 at MP.
How about 7 @ MP then 3 @ LT pace.?
