Hocker having the talent to compete with the worlds best, specifically Jakob in a certain type of race is one thing. It's completely separate from the fact that he raced a ton in the last 6 months which at his age simply has to catch up with him.
So I can most definitely say that based on what I saw indoors and what I just saw outdoors (awesome finishing strength and power) is good enough to compete with the worlds best now and historically (and I've given quantitative basis for that) and also say that I have a feeling he's now raced too much and that may compromise him being able to utilize the maximum of that talent moving forwards in this season.
