Jakob was already tested hundreds of times. By the time his career is over he'll be tested thousands of times

You do realize that Lance had an enormous team behind him that made it all possible? To compare with Lance is humbug. He came back almost from death and was suddenly the best of the best. Shady as hell. While Ingebrigtsen has taken steps by steps in a steady manner each and every year.
Well hate to break it to you, but Jakob has two world class brothers and a father that coaches, I would posit that this could itself be a "support center" for any sort of thing they wanted to get up to. Again I am saying it is suspicious, I am not outright accusing. Afterall, I think Rupp has always been "clean."[/q
Aha, YOU are suspicious and you have the need to post it? Because you are familiar with the culture surronding him? Or by some heavenly inspiration. You have had some courses in theories of science at school? You are very close to accusations. As you have learend in modal logic everything is possible. But so far there is not a glimpse of evidence, just some kind of strange mechanical reasoning. People should be better than this. If one has not a shrink of empirical evidence, the least one should do is to shut up. Or the evidence on the table, whether it is about Jakob Ingebrigtsen or someone else. Well, whatever, he is not going to run 5000 in the Olympics.

The only way anyone else is going to heat him at this point is to run super high pace from the gun. No way he loses that final 200m. I’ve been a Jakob skeptic but that was boss.
I saw the race and I don't think he faced real kickers in that race.
The only one that I could beat on was Edris and he was out form this season.
Maybe, but something is not right with Chep. That was a fast final three laps, and clearly Jakob has learned from his past misjudgments. He has the superior speed. If he can sit-in while others keep the pace high, he’s still going to win.
I think Jakob now realizes how he needs to race to win, which he didn’t seem to grasp last year. Plus he just looks fit and smooth.
I agree he may still lose to a couple speedsters, but it ain’t going to be Mo, and Chep looks not right, and none of Ethiopians can outsprint him in that last 150. All Jakob needs to do is hang in on the pace.

+1
Can you show me the stats to support the claims that Jakob is tested hundreds of times?
Can you provide an explanation as to why even hundreds of tests could be definitive given that Lance (and many others) passed hundreds of tests?
Can you explain why not being tested that much means you are dirty? Frank Shorter was probably never tested. So was he dirty?
Can you explain why being from Norway suggests you are clean when Norwegian cyclists and skiiers dope? For example, one of Lance's teammates was a Norwegian doper. . .
https://www.thelocal.no/20121023/norway-cyclist-kaergaard-admits-doping/
TLDR: If you think everyone is dirty, that makes sense. If you think a lot of people are dirty but hope that some of the great ones are clean, that makes sense. If you pick and choose and declare that one guy is magic and everyone else is dirty, you are a crank.

LRC note. This poster started a thread entitled "Jakob is GOD!!!" We merged it with this thread.
3 seconds per mile for the super shoes so really a 12:57
Amazing for a 20 year old nevertheless
I'm surprised, I was sure he was too big to run that fast a 5000.
If he gets more wheels, he could get near that 1500 WR. This is a better 5000 than El G could do.

That's what worries me a bit. It could be that Jakobs 800m is a bit too weak and his 5k a bit too strong for that 1500m WR.
Congrats to Jakob.
I'll tell you who is also a real BAD A$$:
Hagos Gebriwet. A historically great runner.
Your move Hobbs Kessler
Dude Gebriwet has dusted him before in a 1301 race...and you think any of those other guys are scared of him? Lol
Is Jakob running the 1500 only in Tokyo or will he attempt the 1500/5000 double?

El Guerrouj only three times the 5000m from 1992 to 2004:
2004 13:14.39 Olympic Stadium, Athina (GRE) 28 AUG 2004
2003 12:50.24 Ostrava (CZE) 12 JUN 2003
1992 13:46.79 Olympic Stadium, Jamsil, Seoul (KOR) 19 SEP 1992
I still say he is not a kicker but he has notably progressed in strategy and endurance.

Faster than Mourhit, a 14 second jump... According to the anti-Africans he is logically a doper.
I’d say yes, as well as Katir. Not normal.

Wild stuff. I had Jakob pegged for 3rd-5th place with a 12:55 or somewhere around there. MASSIVE performance.
Subway and Coevett always said that if you ran as fast as a doper (and they say ElG was a doper) you were definitely a doper.
Jakob is already faster at 5,000.

Your response?
"Your meds, darling, you forgot your meds."
It is clear that you make a great run by Jacob into all about doping.
It is a shame.
(For those interested: This was a reply to his page 4 rant).
Hold on. Everyone going gaga for a guy that ran 1-sec slower than Mo Ahmed? A dude we know is best for a non/ Gold?
Wow.

He ran 2 seconds faster than Moh Ahmed.
Gebriwet does not have the speed he used to, and Jakob is only getting faster. They are going in different directions. Basically Jakob has become what everyone thought he could become: able to hang with any pace, and closing speed to win the race.
Like I said, I have been a Jakob critic, but he just keeps getting better, and he looks smooth doing it. In a few years I can see him challenging the WR in the 5k, something I would would have laughed at last year.
