He, and many other elites, are glad that Hobbs wasn't there today.

Simpson needs to move up to the 5k. She has no shot at the 1500m.

Go Syd!! Lol

JENNY GOES HOME DEVASTATED!!!!!!!
Yikes, Jenny got second in the 1500 in 4:06.18. I was rooting for her today, but not sure she can turn it around...

This is a very interesting decision -- because the 1500/5k double isn't feasible at the Trials, so she's going to have to pick. Today's run was better than her outing at the USATF Grand Prix, but still not very encouraging.

Newberrys got the gurls too!
Yeah, impressive.
Another NP girl just ran 4:55. What school has the most sub-5 girls in the same year?
Don’t count her out, sometimes you have to race yourself in shape. There’s still enough time.
Even so, I think she has a better shot in the 5k.
No doubt. However, I wouldn’t want to be peaking now. In other words, no need to panic yet.
Kasey Knevelbeard (Westfly). 3:58.94. Not bac CEO
oh wait it wasn't't a mile it was a 1500.
Nevermind

I'm at the meet, nice temps, (for the South's standards) decent amount of humidity but that's expected.
Last night was much worse, a lot hotter and more humid. I ran 30 seconds slower than my 5k PR in the Open race lol

Totally agree. Jenny was competitive today and she is still busting the rust after a long hiatus. Her ability to consistently make US teams is one of the greatest achievements in US T&F. This is Jenny MF Simpson. Haven't we learned already to NOT count her out?
Got to watch Jenny, Sydney and the others today in person today. So fun. Awesome meet!

Is Dave still the meet director too?
