So right now I am currently at around 14:40 5k fitness, and have dropped 2 minutes in the 5000 over the last 18 months off of 50-65 miles per week on average, with my highest mileage week being one or two weeks at 70 here or there. If I was to train at a consistent 80-90 miles per year, with multiple strength sessions, and all the appropriate hip and core work, how fast would I be able to run in a year? Each week would consist of a long tempo(8-10 miles),
a lactate threshold interval session that will be replaced by an interval session in season, and two long runs per week; a slow one after the second workout and then a faster one two days later to work on endurance. Also each workout will contain short, fast reps from 100m sprints to 400m intervals at the end to develop speed. How fast can I go in a year?
