The CEO runs 1:48 again? BAHAHAHAHA
Seven under 1:51.03 in one go round. Someone knows how to coach the 800.
Arop is fulfilling his promise.
Not a great day for Everett, he's barely improved since indoor meanwhile his teammates are killing it. I would feel bad, except he is like a store brand version Conor Mcgregor without the actual winning to back his mouth up.
Garcia Romo and Suliman were a bit faster than him indoors right ? 3:55 for those two and 3:58 for Everett if I remember correctly. This seems to line up fine with their 800 times today, 1:47-1:47 and 1:48

Be factual here. Everett has a good race. He improved his PB by 0.44
Only Garcia and Franklin improved their PBs by more than Everett.
Garcia has been killing it for the past 4 months. His improvement is off the chart. I think that this race was a PB by more than 2 seconds. He has been destroying all his PBs.
Franklin has also had crazy improvement in 2021. He started the year with a 1:51.37 PB. He had another great race.
I'm sure Smulders is psyched to run the same time he ran indoors and be the 5th fastest guy on his own team as a senior in college.
He was talking about making the Olympics during indoors.

It doesn't hurt that he is part of one of the best MD teams ever.

Literally Suliman, Romo, and also-rans.
Well they did run 9:19 without their fastest miler on the team.
I wish the 4x800 was contested at NCAAs

His stock is in free fall.

Back up your shlt talking or GTFO. It's obvious you're an old has-never been JV beta male who prides off telling off teams and runners 10x faster than you have been or ever will.
ah cmon you sound like someone ignorant of the sport saying that
every race ever has only 1 winner, but we clearly follow track and field for more than just first place finishers

Technically, he’s 6th.
Bethmann has a 1:47.8 Pb (but from 2019)
Super deep 800m squad. Nobody at top end (yet), but 6 guys within 1.2s. A big PB by any of the 6 could change that.

Very impressive depth. You have to think that some of these sub 1:48 guys are going to go 1:45 at some point and all of the 1:48 and under guys will run fast 1500s.

That's a pretty good time for him. What are the Tinbeta guys running for 800 right now?
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
