So last news from NSAF was that they would announce no later than the end of April where the nationals would be held and other details like qualifying windows and standards. All we know now are the dates something like June 30-July 3. We are now at the end of April. Has anyone else heard anything yet?
I know the Adidas group that did indoor nationals this year is having a Nationals the same weekend in North Florida. Is Brooks having their meet this year?
have not heard about the adidas outdoor nationals..we attended the indoor nationals in Virginia beach... can you provide a link. or more info?
I saw New Balance cancelled theirs.. Is that the same meet as the NSAF one that was supposed to be announced by the end of April?
Steve Underwood just announced on TF&N that the NSAF will be going ahead with their version of this meet and will announce the venue soon.
The NSAF will be hosting The Outdoor Nationals this summer, with the date set for June 30-July 3, 2021. Expecting to announce in the next week the meet venue and sponsor. The NSAF has hosted Outdoor Nationals for preps since 1991 and this will be #30! Started in California and later Raleigh, NC and Greensboro, NC. Sponsors have included adidas, Foot Locker, Nike and New Balance.
I will be very happy if that is the case.... but I am getting very annoyed with the delays.. They told us end of April ... I think April 30 is pretty close to the end of the month!!! its just frustrating not knowing where they will be or how to qualify when the season is already about 5-6 weeks from completion, state and regular season wise.

It’s pretty bs how many “national championships” there are now. I get that covid made all of these happen but we should have one true champion

I agree, we went from one to a possible three. New Balance and Adidas joining in. You already had Brooks taking away a lot from the NSAF Nationals. So next year we may have Brooks, Adidas, New Balance and NSAF. Wow, will those fields be watered down, never mind that winning the "Nationals" will mean almost nothing.
