Is it reasonable that i could run a 510-520 1600? last night i ran a 1600 with the first 800 split of 234 but than i slowed down thinking it might be to fast because i was breathing hard, that lap was like a 90 and then my final time was 537.

My 800 is about 225 and i can keep a 630-7 pace for a good 2-3 miles

Kind of confused. So you went out in 2:34 (1:17's), then ran a 90, then ran a 93? I don't think it was a decision to slow down versus getting out too fast and not being able to hold that pace. 2:34/3:03 isn't it. Let people go out hard if they're going faster than what you can run. You'll kick down people who make those mistakes.
If you went out in 2:34 & fell off like that, idk how reasonable 5:10 is unless your 1st 400 was something silly. 5:20-25 is probably more appropriate. Go out in no faster than 80 in your next race. & watch the time in your first 100 & 200. Don't sprint out. Don't be faster than 40 at 200. Hit 800 in 2:40. See if you can hold it. If you have a big kick and can hop under 5:20 then you know you can go out a little faster the next time out.
Aim to have your last 200 of your next race be the fastest 200 of your race or even with what you held for the whole thing.
