Anyone tried to deviate nitro? Feedback? Was looking at it and excited to order a pair but just realized that Puma doesn't seem to make this shoe in a 12.5 or any half size above 12. Kind of a shame. How was the fit for those that have tried?

Virtually every shoe company DOES NOT make 12 1/2 sized shoes. I am sure there may be a couple of exceptions, but usually sizing goes 11, 11 1/2, 12, 13, 14 ,15 etc...
As someone that wears a 12.5 that has not been my experience. Current rotation is Nike, Hoka, New Balance, Atreyu but have also run in Reebok, Saucony and ASICS. I am actually now trying to think of a shoe company where I have not been able to get a 12.5... what is an example?
I'm old school...just checked a few shoes on Road Runner....You're correct...
Fit is slightly big. Not so much as to size down, but enough to either add insole, thicker sock. Some may not notice difference. It's also plausible the half sizes over 12 have not arrived yet. Product just released in March and I'm sure production was based on previous futures of size runs ordered. Very good shoe in my opinion. Nice fit, Very similar to Peg Turbo version 1 albiet with the plate.
Do either of you have any Skechers HyperBurst shoes to compare to? I looked at the Deviate Nitro in a store, and it appeared (just by squeezing the foam) their midsole was a bit softer than HyperBurst. Their foam did seem to have a more finished appearance than HyperBurst...it was lighter in color too.
You have it so tough! What I really need is a size 16.5 but they are just not made most of the time. I have to settle for 17's. Lots of shoe companies don't make "off the rack" shoes past size 14 or 15 and your choice of models is severely limited.
Ya that is a totally different can of worms. My cousin is a size 17 and he has the same issue.
I wear size 14 , It's a running shoe, above size 12 the difference of a 1/2 size makes to the shoes is not consequential. Get the size up if the smaller one doesn't seem right and don't think twice about it.
Not sure I understand this post. I would think proper fit is actually MOST important in a running shoe vs. other types of footwear. Additionally, the difference of a half size for a person with size 12 feet isn't really any different than a size 8 (for example). I have found that I tend to get brutal blisters going up to size 13 and neuroma flair ups going down to 12.
I was able to get size 12 1/2 wide from Puma via Amazon. It's not in their chart but if you call Customer Service they'll get it for you. Sometimes they send the wrong item. But it's very easy to return and as soon as they scan your item where you drop it off to be returned the Credit you back your money so you don't have to use up your credit or debit card.
Have you ever considered not having clown feet?
