So I have been doing some reading about sprint training and came across this Tony Holler Feed the Cats stuff. Maybe it is just the self promotion but seems like a lot of people are into this.
The merits of this program are obvious - shorts practices keep kids healthy and engaged. Basically encourage numbers to come out by keeping the training relatively easy. Makes total sense.
Yet I read the training and look at the results and I am not that impressed. The workouts are incredibly short and easy but he says they have proven success. Yesterday he posted an article that included his school's records. Color me not impressed whatsoever for a large public high school.

It's clear that he has had some solid athletes come through there but the training seems to really be lacking for 400 types. And the results back that up.
