No word on any investigations or anything? Just left a decent 6 figure position for something as yet unannounced?
He’s starting his own pro group, he’s been asking the school for better faculties to compete with the other schools they said no. So he left.

This is what I'm looking forward to seeing. He must have a training facility lined up with all of the bells and whistles needed to support a pro field event group. If he has access to a track for many hours of the day, throwing implements, HJ and PV pits, hurdles, it can happen. All of that usually means an AD and HC somewhere granted him the privilege to be there. Is there a facility rental fee? Where do they do their strength training? Is there a medical team willing to treat any needs?
I take it this is all lined up. Will be very interesting to see how this transpires.
So, we're post-NCAA and we know for sure Petros is gone. But where?

Probably a place he can work with athletes of all ages, not restricted by the NCAA and their compliance officers.
Coach Petros will find a job, but not one making the kind of money he walked away from at Georgia. He seems like he walked away from as much as 800k per year with all his bonuses, just to get his point across to administrators who could care less. Look like the USC coach was happy to take the big fat salary for him. They look like geniuses hiring her and he looks like a bafoon for walking away without a better job lined up. I am sure he will explain to everyone why he was right and they were wrong. He will find that the problems at other schools are way worse than Georgia.
Honestly it probably works out better for UGA. I'm assuming she'll be fine with what they have and will compete for SEC along with natties which the Dogs never really had a shot at winning before.
ADs love conference titles as well
