He owes LRC NOTHING.
He owes USATF NOTHING.
He owes the Running Community NOTHING.
What sort of employment would you keyboard warriors suggest he take. Coaching? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!
Let the man make his $$$$.

Yea, but what reality TV family will he marry into to reach that level? He'll need to move to LA for that to work.
John Madden is actually a decent comparison here. Super Bowl winning coach with the Raiders but better remembered for his broadcasting career and video game franchise.
Nick is awesome. He's promoting the sport now on youtube to the younger generation.
If more pro or former pro runners did this type of thing the sport might actually be popular.
I love what Nick is doing, more power to him.
Mad respect for his 800 domination not all that long ago as well

Respectfully, no he didn’t. He was 3rd in D2 as a SR.
This is another stupid LRC thread, but I'll bite. He's solidly in the top 6 Americans of the last 60 years, along with Ryun, Wottle, Wolhuter, Gray and Brazier in chronological order. Brazier has potential to become the absolute #1 if he wins in Tokyo and has a couple more seasons like last year. But for now, it's those six without a lot of separation between them. Have I omitted anyone?
