I'm 6 weeks out from states where I'll likely qualify in the mile. I have a weekly meet until then, where I'll double the 800 and mile most meets. I'm on a very small team and my coach doesn't have much experience, so he takes my input into consideration when writing the weekly schedule. I've done two workouts and a race most of the season, but I seem to do better and feel better on just one hard workout a week, along with a race. The last 4 weeks of the season, should my main workout be mile paced or should I continue to have a bit of threshold?
