My goal is to get to around a 2:30 1000m. I want to achieve this accomplishment by my senior year. I am currently a sophomore and my time is a 2:54. What should I do training wise to get to this point. Any specific workout plans?

Get faster in the 800m and 1600m outdoors
If you run 4:25 and 1:58 you'd have a shot for like 2:33 ish
I ran 2:54 while twelve years old and had a career best of 2:29 years later.
By the time I've run that, my PBs in 400m, 800m and 1500m were 0:52, 1:54 and 3:56.
