Real fans of the sport absolutely despise Armstrong and do NOT think hes a TdF winner.

What about the father of the victim? Actually, what about the victim herself?

Since Lance can no longer claim any TDF results as official victories, why is that strange?
Because most sane people recognise the fact that he won the Tour de France 7 times.
No, he didn't. And if so please show the official results.

+1
The comparison with banned drug cheat Ben Johnson was a good one. Also Ramzi, whose "wins" overlapped with Armstrong's "wins". Almost no one sees Ramzi as the legit Olympic champion.

I'm not judging either Armstrong or Indurain, but they and many others had Doc who prescribed stuff.

So you’re saying blatantly that you support doping?

The vast majority do not any more than they think Trump won the 2020 presidential election.
What vast majority are you talking about?
Oh, you mean the 80 million that "voted" for a guy who can barely read a teleprompter.

And those same sane people recognize that Ben Johnson not only won a gold medal in the Olympics, but that his 1988 Gold medal 100m in 9.79 was one of the greatest athletic achievements ever up until that point in history. It was historic and ought to celebrated to this day, right along with Lance's 7 TDF victories.
Armstrong won the all-drug Tour de France 7 times, whereas it's quite conceivable that some of the 1988 finalists were not doping anything stronger than caffeine.
The 81 million who voted for a guy who is clean and articulate, who is fixing the country and doesn't make stuff up every second of the day, the guy who's not profiting off the U.S. gov't, the guy who didn't incite a revolution?
The sheer fact that no one was given Lance's titles because so many were doping tells you all you need to know. The frequent runner-up, Jan Ulrich, would have had 4 titles if they did that, but he had been busted for a doping offense. The sport is such a joke. Sky was sponsoring doping the past decade when it dominated. Contador was caught doping but stripped only of one title. The guy to win after Lance was Landis, caught doping. It goes on and on. Anyone who thinks that Indurain, multiple champ before Lance, or Delgado or Riis was clean has his head in the sand.
No surprise that Lance's son is a screw up but I'd say it's more of the publics fault than Lance's parenting for their public outrage and abuse of Lance indirectly affecting his son. People like to point the finger, while either projectong or to feel better about their own insecurities.
Moral obligation for him to raise son with Christian perspective.
Is that being done?

yup--prior to Lance winning the Tour, it was embroiled in scandal with the Festina Team getting busted for doping in '98...bookending Lance's titles was Operation Puerto in 2006 implicating Ullrich and Oscar Sevilla among others...it wasn't whether doping existed, it was whether you got caught!
Texas has a "3 year age difference rule" so it's not a sexual assault per se based solely on the age of the victim. It can still be a sexual assault if force was used, but not just based only on the "victim" being under 17. So if an 18 year old and 16 year old have consensual sex, it's not a crime.

(e) It is an affirmative defense to prosecution under Subsection (a)(2):
(A) the actor was not more than three years older than the victim and at the time of the offense:

Yeah poor Lance. Every night I shed a tear for all of his suffering.

I think that Jesus made a good point:
"Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone".

Carl Lewis and Linford Christie who finished behind Ben Johnson were using pseudoephedrine, which is a mild stimulant.
All three were great talents, with outstanding natural speed and racing skills. But Ben was faster over 100m.

He's much more of a hero than a villain.
I was getting drunk with friends from age 14. Is that as bad as doping in sport?
What if I was a real hell raiser and got into some really nasty brawls? Would that be as bad or worse?

No. But I do like the smell and taste of freshly ground coffee.
So how do Indurain, Riis, Ulrich and Pantani have victories?

The mother is a very devout Christian. Also - it's really none of our business what their religious up bringing is.
