But federals have only power in the District of Columbia. The 'laws' can't be enforced in the states.
Beside the 2nd Amendment is an inalienable right which can be taken away. No matter what the criminals in government are babbling.
If police comes to violate your 2nd Amendment rights you have the right to defend yourself.
That is exactly why the 2nd Amendment was installed: To defend your life and freedom.

I don’t think anyone is against longer background checks or having background checks at gun shows. I don’t really mind any of these measures. I’m not sure why having a stock for a pistols is a big deal but oh well.
I have no idea what number three means.
The main fear that dang near every gun owner has is where/when will they stop. That once they get going that they’ll eventually make it either illegal or so hard to get a gun, even a hunting rifle or shotgun, that it’s not worth the time.
Domestic terrorism sucks. People dying in these shootings suck but just because you take away all the guns doesn’t mean it stops. These same people can just use their car to mow people over or build a freaking bomb if they wanted to. Plus even if the government was successful in getting all the guns from law abiding citizens the “bad guys” would still have guns.
In ever shooting it’s showed that far less people are killed when someone is legally caring has their gun on them and fires back.
fyi we need to stop voting for 70 year old men lol. We need to cap the sge st 65 or at least 70. Our past two presidents hsve been nutbags and are to dang old lol -
I appreciate you just copied and pasted this and probably don't understand all of the words completely, but which one of these do you feel implies that Joe Biden is coming after your guns?
Which one in particular do you think is infringing on your rights? -
Irrespective of parsings of the Second Amendment (always a fruitless discussion):
There are no absolute rights. As previously established per SCOTUS, it absolutely is possible to place limitations on possession and use of firearms.
Most Americans are not permitted to have machine guns; the Constitution is fine with that. If it were possible to "keep and bear" a nuclear weapon, individual Americans would not be allowed to have it; such a prohibition would also pass constitutional muster. -
gun control is a myth. 3D printers. ammunition is not meaningfully controllable either. These types of guns are all over Europe and America.

I find it very ironic the US has by far the most mass shooting and has some of the most lax gun laws in the world and there are still some people that act like they don’t have any way to fix this.

Gun fanatics can chill. You'll still be able to buy all the AR-15s and AK-47s you want under Biden's proposal. You just won't be able to make them at home yourself with your 3D printer.

The AK-47 used in the recent mass shooting in LA has been illegal there since 1989. -
Guess the government, military, and cops are ready to begin disarming
-
"5. The Justice Department will issue an annual report on firearms trafficking."
I heard Eric Holde will chair the committee that issues this report. -

The one thing I don't see happening in my lifetime is any State or Federal agents trying to actively take guns away from gun owners. A ban on most types of gun purchases...I can see that (don't agree though). But not an active disarming. A lot of people going to get hurt if that was tried.
Although I would probably be convinced to give up my firearms if I can at least be compensated with what I paid for them and I get to keep my various revolvers for home defense and target shooting. I love my semi automatics, be they pistols or rifles, but I do understand that they are killing machines in the wrong hands. Just like explosives, which no one seriously suggests should be available to anyone. -

Cool story.
Take away assault rifles and similar variants and you lessen the death total of like 90% of mass shootings. Las Vegas for example.....

In most states Americans can purchase and own machine guns. It is reasonably expensive to do so with prices ranging from a few thousand to 50k or more depending on the gun, but to say that you can't do so is wrong. -
Just watch, mags and both drop in and kits for binary triggers will be on the chopping block next. In addition to AP rounds (even M855's) and body armor that exceeds level 3 protection...
Stay vigilant, live right, keep your powder dry. -
Progressives believe that the Constitution, which never mentions abortion or hints at it or says anything remotely related to it, nonetheless guarantees an absolute right to abortion. But the Second Amendment doesn't guarantee a right to bear arms.
These are not serious people -
Arms were single shot muskets when the Constitution was written.
And they allowed slavery.
So, they had their faults. -
You cannot make this up anymore. This is exactly what Stalin, Mao, and Castro did in their countries. This left the people defenseless from tyranny.

1) From your own damn link..
“The United States... [has] had more mass shootings than any other country in terms of overall numbers.”
Is there another definition of “most”?
2) And this data is from pre-2015!! The last six years have been absolutely awful for the US regarding mass shooters.
3) Lastly, his analysis is extremely misleading. His only goal is to trick the reader (worked on you). Anyone with any knowledge on stats would laugh at this garbage. -
Deaths from mass shootings per year...

Which country has the highest total?
Which country is the ONLY COUNTRY with mass shootings EVERY YEAR?
Which country is the ONLY COUNTRY to have more than two years with a mass shooting over the seven year span?
The US. That’s the answer.
