Hey guys,
I've got a couple training questions.
1)How important is a base? I've read over and over that it's the only way you'll improve in the long term, but how does it affect you over the course of a season? I put in virtually no base this summer(<15 mpw), and in my fourth week of real training, i've made virtually no progress. This leads me to my second question...
2)how long does training take to "kick in"? I've read that it takes somewhere around 2 weeks to start making progress, but i'm not totally sure.
