I’m a 16:54 5k’er sophmore in high school and currently have a stress fracture. Been out 5 weeks and did crutches and now I’m just on the boot and doc said I’ll be good to run in 2 weeks from now. I plan on doing the runnersworld 7 week injury plan that gets to about 30 miles. I want to get to 60 this summer for my cross country base peak mileage. I was hitting 35-40ish for my track season right before I got injured and topped out at 45 last summer due to a hip injury. After the runnersworld plan I kinda made a weeks mileage plan I want to do to get to 60.
