I I’ve done 2 pretty good workouts in the past couple weeks and I’d like to know what people think I can run in the 800/1600 and why.
1. The 16x200 workout I averaged 28.9 seconds per 200 with the last one being 25.8. My rest was 1:15 jogging then 30 seconds for getting water and getting on the line.
2. The 8x400 workout was a little less exiting because it was on the roads and not track but I averaged 67.8 with the rest being 1:30 after every other and 3 minutes on the other every other I believe.
3. I did a 4x mile workout averaging 5:22 with 60 second rest but with 18 mph wind on the back stretch so I’d say I could run closer to 5:15.
4. And lastly I did 5x800m hills in a 2:34
The last two are just to show my endurance/strength but I know I’m a much more of a 800/mile guy.
