So I decided to spend a large portion of my allowance to get one of the best shoes of the year, and now I regret it. I got them in the Olympic colorway, so the appearance is nice, and I get a lot of compliments about them at practice, but that is not really why I bought them. The bubble on the outside is kind of warped now, and it makes the landing really slanted and uncomfortable. Every time I finish a run, the arch of my foot is sore (I mainly wear them on easy runs), which usually isn't a big problem. It also feels like my calves have to push extra hard to even maintain an easy pace, which is obviously not a good thing for runners (or actually maybe it is, in a certain sense, but not on recovery days). They do feel a little springy, but the amount of energy to maintain a slow pace is a lot higher than when I usually run. Lastly, when I take steps they feel really tough, like when I step it sounds like I'm wearing horseshoes, which is annoying because nobody likes the guy that stomps when he runs.
This has lead me to not like to wear my Alphafly Tempo Next %'s, and instead stick with my Adidas Adizero Pro's. Have any of you guys had a bad experience with these new shoes? (I mean they aren't very new now, but you know what I mean)
