Jaylen Slade looks like the REAL DEAL for America's future. He is originally from Georgia and now runs for the IMG Academy. I do have two questions, one based on ignorance:
1) I know IMG costs a lot of money to go there, but is it not primarily based for sports? Like you would pay that money because you want to become a pro athlete. No disrespect to the other 4x4 team members, but it seems like you should be running at least a 46s 400. That is a lot of money to be running times that you could achieve through hard work at any decent track program.
2) Jaylen Slade is a beast. IMG costs a lot of money. Has no one given him some basics on how to take a 4x4 handoff? For the money, it seems you would get down every detail of training down well, or at least the basics that you learn past the middle school level
