I'm a 51 year old male and decided back in January I was going to start jogging to try to get back into some semblance of shape before it was too late. It's been going pretty good once I got past the first couple weeks of soreness. I'm doing 15 to 20 mpw which I know isn't much but it's big for me as I've been on the couch for the last 20 years. Anyway, Last week my feet and ankles started killing me for no apparent reason. I haven't done anything out of the ordinary. Just woke up and they felt like I'd run for the first time all over again only worse. Could it be my shoes? I running in Mizuno waveriders. Should I try something else? If so, what would you recommend?
