It's getting close now. Hopefully a lot of goal times achieved. Good luck!

what marathon are you doing LnL?
The Trader Invitational.
I had my turn last weekend (3:02:00). That's good for me. How about yourself Sam?

lakefront marathon in milwaukee. a 2,300 runner point to point race, with a slight downhill. there will be about 500 more runners in it this year as compared to last. it is a fast course. the weather is predicted to be a low of 63 and high of 73, so a bit warm.
sounds like you had a good result. i am shooting for a more modest time.
i am a bit nervous, but looking forward to it.
Sam,
I will be at LakeFront in Milwaukee too. My wife and several members of my club will be running it. I'll be driving around to different places ringing the cowbell. Should be fun! I'll look for you. You're going to have "Sam" on your number?
It's a fun race and it looks like it should be good weather. I think it will be a bit cooler than 63 at the start.

i hope you are right and it is a bit cooler. i heard 63 this morning on the way to court. i had been hearing low 50s, which i hope is correct.
i love the cow bells. they were everywhere last year.
sam will not be the name on my bib. i am looking forward to the race. i did the buildup program and had a great time. i feel good, but have not run much this week and feel a bit "sluggish." i plan to do a couple slow ones today and a couple tomorrow, just to loosen up.
will you be at the expo? if so where and what time? if i see you i will introduce myself. i was thinking about going tonight, but dont really care when i go.
i assume your wife is kris?
i misunderstood, i thought "running it" meant "putting on" not "running it" so your wife is not kris h. stupid mistake.
good luck to your wife.
I know Kris too! I will not be at the expo as we live in Illinois and someone else will pick up our packet. I heard a few other cowbells out there in the past but I traveled to 4 different spots plus the start and finish. If you hear a cowbell being rung by someone with an Alpine Jacket on, point at him, if he points back, it's me!
Good luck and cross your fingers for cool weather.
