hell no
2 out of 3 to tie or to win the division?
3 out of 3 to win
2 out of 3 to tie
1 out of 3 to lose
0 out of 3 to lose
It's at Fenway, they'll win them all.
Alan
Sox take 2 at home and then exorcise the ghost of Bucky Freakin' Dent on Monday at Yankee Stadium!
A-Rod - make a tee time for Tuesday morning.
I'll be taking in the game tonight on the flat screen at Cap's in Charlestown, if anyone else is over there.
Sox will sweep the weekend series. No nail-biting drama like everyone's expecting.
Cap's is definitely the place to be. You should have been there last year to hear the place erupt after game 7.
The Yanks are 9-7 against the Sox this year. A sweep for either team is unlikely. Also, Randy Johnson starts on Saturday and he has yet to lose to the Sox as a member of the Yankees.
As a die-hard Indians fan I cannot believe I am saying it but,
GO YANKS!!
(eliminates some of the drama over the weekend)
the team with the best pitching will win, just like the playoffs. i will go with the yanks on this one, as wang is going tonight and johnson tomrrow and moose on sunday, they just have to take one of them to bring it to yankee stadium and a playoff where chacon, who is on fire now, would get the start. now the sox have to win 3 of those to take the division, with wells wakefield and schilling taking 2 of 3 and then arroyo, who was less tham impressive in his last start, going in the playoff. on to the bullpen, the sox only trust papelbon and timlin and i think timlin is on fumes now, and rivera and gordon appear to be very sharp now. now i know all you red sox fans will point out what happened last year, I am not dumb, i know what can, and did happen in baseball. this is just one guys opinion.
I have a feeling the Red Sox will take 2 out of 3, and it will come down to a play-off at the Stadium pitting Chacon against Arroyo. If it comes to that, I'm saying 6-5, Yanks...
As a colorado native, I hope that the sox win first 2 then get lit up by Chacon. I am pissed the rockies got rid of him. I remember the dude from High School.
