Now you're talking track.
Lets keep it up, it's an Olympic Year, maybe!?!

Sort of funny that there are weeks that go by with more posts about politics or Covid than running. But why should we talk about jumps when the results are phenomenal?
Try LetsJump ya dweeb.

Amaris Tyynismaa isn't in the 3000m.
really disappointed about this especially since she ran a 4:31 anchor in the DMR (and DMR got DQ), and looked really strong at the SEC meet. My guess is that her and Gitahi are saving their legs for NCAA XC, even though Tyynismaa is a much stronger track runner

Is Chelengat healthy? Alabama's top 3 did a job on Arkansas at SEC meet and Tyynismaa was not one of them. If Alabama find a reasonable 4 and 5 they could be a podium factor on Monday. But they did not have that in the Fall.

BTW, maybe already discussed, but that Rice girl in the 5000m was wearing the adidas adiZero adios.. does that shoe hit the stack height limit because Nike's 4% and Next% and AlphaFly are not allowed. Just interesting.

How many times do people have to say there is NO stack height limit for the NCAA before y'all get it. She wasn't breaking any rules

I believe Chelangat is healthy, since she doubled at SEC indoor meet (unless she got injured very recently). I can understand saving Chelangat for the XC meet, but I thought Tyynismaa would be top 3 in the 3k so not totally sure why she pulled out (she was only 26th at SEC XC meet).

I know this is the "Lets go for a long Run" website but I've read through all 10 pages of posts so far and I've seen only a handful of comments about events that aren't distance events.
Correction: It's "Let's go for a long Run, BUT, not too long" as we disparage Ultra runners as well.
Why was Washington’s DMR team disqualified?
They were overheard discussing field event results.

da fuq is going on here, when is the mile starting? I’m liable to fall asleep watching the triple jump this long
Starts at 3.
entertain yourself with my distance previews:

and drop your mile picks
Wow, seriously in depth preview, thanks. Gunnin’ for Jon Gault’s job, eh? Unfortunately I have to work at 3, won’t be able to be watching the mile after all I guess.
I’ll put my vote in for Hocker or Teare to win the mile. Oregon better get some distance hardware at least if they’re gonna skip XC

I'll bet all the money I have that Teare doesn't win the mile
Adam Fogg
Oregon got this thing locked up. This triple jumper going off, got two guys in the 60m final, favorites to win all three distances races today, already got the DMR win.
