One of my core beliefs is "knowledge is power." The fact is we don't know for sure if the vaccine affects fertility and we won't know for many months. It does appear to affect cells in the placenta, which is why some doctors are concerned. There have been 160 reported cases of miscarriage/premature birth after taking the vaccine.
As far as problems beyond an allergic reaction, over 1095 deaths have occurred in the days following the vaccination. About a third occurred within 48 hours. Overwhelmingly, the deaths were in the USA. To be fair, the number of deaths after the vaccine are far less than the number of deaths due to COVID, which is currently around 3,000 PER DAY in the US using the 7-day moving average. (1,283 on March 1 so the number is coming down rapidly.)
Other than (I assume) death reports, there is no formal reporting structure for VAERS. Most people have probably never heard of it so it's likely that a lot of side effects are going unreported.
Now, this doesn't mean that I'm against the vaccine. I'm saying that it is not as safe as government and public health officials are telling us. Thankfully, we have millions of people taking the vaccines so we should know the long-term effects in a year or so.
