Tuohy should follow the Rocky 4 workout. Also Mountain climbing, rock climbing. A lot of pool work to get in the pool, running the pool, running under water.

Guys on the 4th of July do we go around talking about how the rest of the Free World has way better records than we do in terms of Human Rights, rule of law, government transparency, the environment, Healthcare, Crime & safety,
No we shoot off a bunch of fireworks and act like Mindless idiots
So when Tuohy runs let's treat it like a national holiday and not mention other happenings
Wooooooow... men's 800 was crazy! Anyone see that race? They tried to knock the dude off the track and then he came back and won. Guy from Miami of Ohio beat the pros. And then after the race they started having a pretty heated argument. Miami of Ohio looks like a good team. They won the dmr2. I wonder if they knew he was a good runner and tried to knock him out or if it was just coincidence
It was crzy
90+% of the high school phenoms who have a downward trajectory during their junior and senior years end up never reaching their PRs again. Mary Cain's performances didn't dip til after graduation. Tuohy would be bucking a trend to make it back to the top of the mountain, but I hope she does and this performance is better than most in her situation.
Tuohy pr'ed in the 3000, two mile and 1600 in the Spring of her junior year, ran her best xc races in the fall of her junior year and was still running 170 speed rated races in xc as a senior. Injuries are an x factor and you never know how a runner will develop, but Tuohy was not a runner who peaked in her freshman and sophomore year. We will see.
Hey what's the deal with some of these races only have like two people running. Like the women's 400 only had two people running in it. Did they still give out six grand prize money in that race? Or is the prize money only for certain races?
Also watch the men's 800 it was a wild finish. I wish they had a hand camera because things got heated. I'm talking oven hot. Dude look like Eminem 2. I thought he was going to go all Eminem on them
Dudes, the poor girl is just a high school phenom trying to run collegiately. I don't follow the scene that closely, but all this microanalysis of her performances seems unwarranted. Maybe she'll be the greatest runner who ever lived eventually, or maybe she'll just be a decent-level college runner, but does she really need to have people posting every relay split she ever ran and seeing how the latest performance stacks up?
It was interesting.
Yeah but you can make that same argument for pretty much anything people are fans of
I mean there's tons of people who are fans of college basketball or some new tennis sensation or gymnast or whatever. Even like chess or baseball or anything really. It's fun, people like to get into these different worlds and learn about all the happenings and so on
She set a lot of Records in high school, so people are curious and yeah who knows whether she'll be a elite level runner at the next level or just a good college Runner but that's kind of why people are following it and seeing what's going on

Exactly she's a Phenom. People are interested in phenomenal stuff
If we were going on and on about someone who learned how to open a door. It might be helpful for you to point out that that's not very interesting
You should go to the Justin Bieber fan club and try to point out to them that his music does not have artistic Merit.
Katelyn Tuohy is an inspiration she's a freegan inspiration to us all
Guys let me jump in here, I sense confusion in the air!
Anyone remember the movie American Beauty?
There was this one scene were a characters filmed a plastic bag floating around in the breeze, and thought it was the most amazing thing ,
He was trying to point out that there was such beauty in the ordinary, that somehow this was a marvellous occurrence!
Well that would have been a good time for the sentiment that Freaknik raised,
There's an important reason why we don't find the ordinary extraordinary. Because if we walked around marveling about plastic bags floating in the breeze. We would never get anything accomplished and would perish
See Evolution over billions of years, has honed the necessity that we find certain things interesting and other things irrelevant
So it's our evolutionary imperative to pay attention to phenoms like Katelyn Tuohy. And I for one am not going to fight The evolutionary forces that have led to the success of humanity
Anyway I always think the efforts of the freaknicks of the world would be better spent trying to bring up interesting new topics rather than to criticize the prevailing ones.
Also he juxtaposed poor girl with phenom, which is a mixed metaphor that undermined the rest of his argument. If you're going to throw out sloppy poetic dispersions I'm not going to take your ruminations seriously.
Some pretty good mile races at the Camel City invite. Savannah Shaw threw down a good 442 for NC State

Thanks for that. That work seems to focus on more than the knees specifically. Here is one of Seth's videos on his knee injury rehab, where you can see the 'body-weight squats on a slant board'. I quickly thumbed through it and did not see the 'monster walking with bands', but I've seen him talk about it in other videos, and do that regularly in his gym work:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xI6Wr9cEbMPhysically, I think she looks similar to how she looked senior year of hs.

It is blatant paedophilia.

I wonder if Katelyn parents follow these threads. And then distill it down into a bunch of bullet points. And then send it to her. To make sure she is getting good feedback.
I bet her parents are delighted that so many older grown up men are interested in their daughter...

I agree. We should cut women sport altogether. Or at least make sure people don’t see it or talk about it...

At what age is it wrong to comment on an athlete's performances? Is it just because she is female or do you go on the threads regarding male runners and make the same comments?
If it is wrong, then why are you trolling the threads regarding female athletes...makes you a hypocrite doesn't it?
Most people comments are very respectful of the athlete...the occasional idiots come on, but then again, I would include you to that category.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
