He's talking about Austin Tamagno, dummy. Way to waste 3 paragraphs.

Yeah! This thread is about being sad about Austin Tamagno now! Keep up.
Seriously what happened to him though? Injuries?

I mean he literally could of quoted any of the other 15 replies that dealt with Teare but instead he gives 3 paragraphs on Teare under a Tamagno post. Def a waste lol

If he's dreaming of the Olympics in 2020, it had better be in the 5000 or he'd better pay someone to rabbit out the 1500 Trials. "

Are you completely blind! And out of your mind?
US has just got 2 world class runners and you talk about some (outside your narrow circles) unknown college runners.
Cooper Teare´s mile time equals to 3:33.32 in the 1500m (when dividing 3:50.39 with 1.08) and Hocker´s mile time equals 3:33.47 in the 1500m.
No other runners in the US are close to these times. If these 2 youngsters can keep it up outdoors they will be Americas foremost contenders for an Olympic 1500m final in 2021.
If the olympics are cancelled again they will be even better at the next big international meeting since they due to their young age - everything equal- will develop further.
Nuguse is not an “unknown college runner.”
The US also has the returning Olympic Champion Centro , 1-2 sub 3:50 indoor mile pros (Gregorek, and Ches if Ches can get citizenship), Engles who can close much better than the Oregon boys and is currently ranked 9th on the world athletics event rankings, and Blankenship who somehow always makes a team.

Fair enouch.
I guess he wasnt' scared of the competition in this case - but he should be.

he ran 7 laps at 29-30 and the last one at 26
This, play the fact that Oregon had 3 guys run 3:53, James west who has run 3:34 outdoor, and reed brown who has run 3:56 indoor.
It’s likely OREGON could quality 3-5 dudes in any final. If they wanted, they could just recreate this same time trial take top 3.
This, plus**
This is 1000 % correct
