Is this the end of Cuse’ domination in the northeast? I believe that it is a very real possibility that this years cross country championship will go on with out the men in orange. After a pitiful ACC championship performance where they placed 6th and after a less than impressive outing on the track, why should the selection committee waist a nationals spot on them. Clearly they are not the same team when Justyn Knight and Colin Bennie were in charge. They continue to prove over and over that they have gone soft and no longer have what it takes to preform on the national level.
Trouble in Syracuse?

The drop off in coaching quality has been pretty obvious with the exiting of Fox. Bell clearly is just an assistant coach good recruiter. Gets good guys but comes nowhere close to meeting their potential.
The guys transferring there are morons, this team is not the same.
I’ll be very disappointed if the sixth team in the ACC makes nationals.
Michigan free pass is kinda BS as well. JUST SAYING! -
I agree 100%. Bell is single handily undoing everything they built in the early 2010’s. Michigan is an interesting point. If the NCAA said conference meets are the highest weight, how can you accept a team that didn’t compete. Seems like the rules only apply to the small schools. This is why the regional system works.

Ouch -
Michigan deserves to go to nationals however. Great team and would probably have won big 10 anyways
-
Sounds like you guys support Duke or something. Newsflash 5th in the ACC doesn't deserve to go to nattys. Waistband it Billy Dix.
-
I just hope they earn it. Conference was supposed to be the big ticket. No shade. Just question if a not so historic program would be given the same respect.
-
I agree they’re a good team. However, the criteria is that conference play is the highest weight. It would be as if they didn’t run their regional meet and they just got to go to nationals. UCLA last year ran terrible and missed out on going. This is very similar. It’s just like stopping people from trading GameStop because the big guys were going to loose.

Are you F'ing high. How can you say that. They have guys who could probably lap you twice in a mile. How about you get out from your moms basement and get a job. Tooker, JP Trojan and Nathan Henderson are all guys that can run 13:50 in their sleep. I haven't even mentioned Joe Dragon. Never come back to this forum.
-
Okay plenty of teams have one bad meet and go to nationals. Covid year is crazy you can't just jump to these absurd conclusions when Syracuse is very clearly the class of the northeast and incredibly talented.
That ship is still sailing strong with crazy good transfers and a good coach in Bell.

May not be a top 10 squad but could kick it with any 20-30 team in the country. You guys probably are D3 tin man superfans. Go enjoy your Saturday instead of bringing down a great program. GO ORANGE! -
Found Coach Bells burner account. Grow up and stop wearing Jordan’s.
Also no reason to call out the TinMob they are doing great things for the sport -
trojan (from w&m) aint good and tooker aint either
-
So we should just give out awards based on precedent. Just because they were good doesn't mean they still are. Tooker hasn't finished a race since Vietnam and the other guys look like they're missing motivation to be out there. Culture problem maybe? Time to move on and give a school like Stony Brook or Charlotte a chance to mix it up with the big guys.

13:50 in their sleep? Then explain this:

Pretty sure the Stony Bros of yesteryear won’t be leaving the retirement home this year. Washed up team. Next.
-
Andy Ronan runs a good team watch it dude
-
Not sure why fartdog thought he could just get away with blatantly lying. Almost like he didn't know tfrrs existed. Smh. Get better.
-
Ronan is a far better coach than Bell at Syracuse. If Ronan coached at Syracuse they'd have at least 2 national championships.
-
I agree he’s a better coach. But that is an aggressive take. If you think anyone was beating NAU or BYU these past years you’re not just wrong, you’re stupid.

what about Syracuse women's teams? good coaching? talent? team culture?
