Platforms don't equal reality. You seem lost on that. We are too selective here - it isn't just Letsrun posters who are on Parler. It's also likely to be the owners and mods. The last year has shown that Letsrun is a Trump supporting site. And still is. Any threads criticizing or condemning him will be deleted. His conspiracy theories are given free rein. Letsrun or Parler - what's the diff?
That you for a thoughtful response. I'm sure neither you nor I support everything in either parties platform.
There are some positive things that Trump did even being largely shackled his entire term. Trying to end the endless wars was one. I appreciate him pressuring our European allies to meet their NATO obligations for common defense. I appreciate his support of school choice. I personally like the embassy moved to Jerusalem. I like his support of the 2nd amendment. I feel the economy did well and in general am for less government and less regulation. I realize on this thread some conservatives are arguing for more regulations on big tech which is traditionally more a liberal platform point.
I think the republican party has strayed way too far from being fiscally responsible. I support immigration reform making a legal path to citizenship both easier and cheaper but really enforcing our laws and ending sanctuary cities.
I voted for Ben Carson in 2016 primaries as I felt he was a unifier and was not a career politician. I think we need term limits for all offices. I don't like Trump's morals although Biden is little better as he had an affair with Jill who was married to a good friend of his. That is about as low as someone can go in my opinion. Hunter has turned out to be a horrible person and I think you can at least give Trump some credit for his kids having become who they are. Trump's comments on women and his multiple affairs are disgusting.
I am in favor of a third party but even centrist democrats don't have much appeal. I mean who did they put up in their primary that was moderate?
I don't understand why anyone thinks censorship is good. Governments have killed more people in the last century than anything else. I fear big government more than big tech. I know many scoff and say it won't happen here but you'd have to completely ignore recent history to hold that opinion. I'm just grateful we aren't full CCP Hong Kong but that would be one of my big worries is big tech in bed with big gov.

I also know that liberals are screaming that Trump questioned the election outcome even though (they claim) no evidence of fraud occurred. And they blame the Capital "riot" on him.
What happened all summer? Every Democrat leader was screaming about racist police when there was absolutely no evidence that the accidental death of George Floyd had anything to do with racism. So by extension, why aren't they responsible for the multiple deadly and highly violent riots that followed all summer long?
This is what always happens in a One Party System where the news media is a branch of the ruling party. The democracy is dead. You are all doomed.

What do I know? I know we spent three years and tens of millions of dollars trying to find collusion between Trump and Russia, and they found NOTHING.
I also know virtually every democrat spend four years trying overturn the 2016 election and now the same democrats are screaming that Trump is questioning the highly suspicious vote counts for the 2020 election.

There is far too much there for me to get into, but there is nothing that the GOP wants to promote as a message that is being censored. If we are seeing and hearing their barrage of censorship, it is not being censored. Why not use that time & effort to promote their platform and message.....as if they have one.
Some things we just disagree on. Dems have never done a thing to the 2nd amendment. Kennedy, Johnson, Carter, Clinton, Obama, not one took your guns. Anyone who doesn't think background checks and limiting assult rifles are not worth my time trying to make them understand that I should not be allowed a nuclear arsenal. There are limits in my eyes.
As I said I will not get into the rest as most are just differences of opinions or the way we live our lives but they are not GOP platforms that are being censored.
Finally, I have to ask. Did you really praise trump's children as something to be proud of? Did you read that before hitting send?
