So I think this may be a dumb question, but should I use plated shoes (zoom fly fk) in workouts considering I don't race in plated shoes (I use saucony xc flats for trails/grass and am going to buy xc 5's, and use vic 3s on track). Like is it not a smart idea to use something that makes you faster considering I won't use it in a race? I basically have two pairs of the flyknits, a pair of Zoom Fly SP, and some vomero 14. I'm going to use the vomeros for when I need more ankle support on workouts (some grass/trails) and zoom fly for tempos and longer fast stuff. Is this all a good idea? (I do my easy mileage in structures and infinity reacts (I overpronate a lot, but it's getting better from strengthening hips and ankles/lower leg.)) Thanks!
