All these people calling them "cheaterflys" are most likely people who tried them and still couldn't break 30 in the 5k, bitter, washed up old masters butthurt because the shoes weren't around in their prime, or people who think there are actual springs in the shoe and will probably fall victim to natural selection in the near future, making them irrelevant in any case.
I own a pair, love them, and still call them cheaterflys because I think it's funny.
