Took mine out for their first spin today, and was definitely impressed. Far better than the Carbon X, softer and less harsh while also bouncier and lighter. The Carbon X would frequently leave me feeling beaten up for longer or harder efforts but that's not the case here. I don't think they're on the same plane as the Endorphin Pro, Adios Pro or Vaporfly but it's close and I think you could train in these more easily. The Hoka gets its speed more from a rolling/gliding sensation than an all out energy return feel. It's definitely pleasant and picking up the pace feels fun and effortless. Think Hoka is onto something here. Anyone else try them out?
