A great race overall, closing in 31 always feels good and I was very happy with this. Note: this was at the new NB indoor track which is pretty fast (200, banked)

W: 5.68 at 8:05
Th: 5.57 at 8:48 with 6x800 at 49-51 with 2 mins rest
F: 5.08 at 8:55
S: 4.43 at 8:19
Su: 5 total, mile race: 4:43 and another heat win. Opened in 33 because I wanted to win the heat and went out in 2nd place, took the lead with 500 to go and held on for the win. Splits: 33.41, 36.05, 36.84, 35.99, 36.59, 35.88, 35.42, 33.03. Not as pretty as the previous mile but a win and a pr is always good so can’t complain. Note: this was at Harvard’s 200m banked indoor track which isn’t as fast as the NB track imo but its still fast.
February 27-March 5:
33.33 miles
M: 6.15 at 7:56
T: 6.08 at 7:16 with mile at 6:10, 1200 at 6:10 pace into 400 faster (72). Would have done a track workout but go snowed on
W: 5.96 at 7:59
Th: 5.34 at 7:52, 4x150 fast (24-25)
F: 4.27 at 8:11
S: 5.5 total with 800 race and 4x4. 800 was pretty bad, went 2:11 but even split it and I think I wasn’t ready for a faster race. Didn’t quite have the speed work to be ready for it and barely ran faster than the last 800 of my 1000 in December. 4x4 was fine, split 56.8 on a flat 200m track which I was decently happy with.
Su: off
Overall, a very solid indoor season, had 2 tactically strong miles where I came away with wins and prs in both. Didn't do a ton of speed work and I think it showed in the 800 but hopefully the speed will come around outdoors.
