I thought COVID didn’t exist? Mr. Governor is just leading a revolution against silly mask mandates! Trump made him shut down California so that the Grand Old Party comes back stronger than ever in 2024!

Wow. I hadn't thought of it like that. It's almost true. He beat him by like 5.7 million votes with 5 million of that coming from CA.
Their votes should count just as much as anyone else’s.
Should we remove or asterisk Republican votes from the most populace red state?
Of course we shouldn’t, we’re all Americans.
Yes, on principle you're right. But I don't think idiotic people with poor enough judgement to continually vote in corrupt morons like Gavin Newsome and Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters are doing anyone any favors by voting.

That said Gov Newsom admitted he made a mistake, the Republican Party or more so the Trump party has pushed me because they refuse to ever take responsibility.
I'm a huge godless Democrat and this is wrong and is hypocrisy.
I've been strictly abiding by, and going beyond, my state's pandemic restrictions, and moves like Newsom's p1ss me off. Setting a good example helps save lives, and this gives Trumpers one more reason to "own the libs" and refuse to abide by protocols.
Wow! :0 An honest Democrat! Who says you can't find good news on letsrun. ;)
To an extent, land does vote (it is why the president is determined by the electoral college and not the popular vote). It's really more of an observation. Laws for how farmers farm, how oil field workers do their jobs, how miners do their jobs, etc. are often times determined by urban voters who have no idea how to produce the things they feel obligated to legislate.
Californians, there is an active petition to get him recalled. Please visit local signing center to get him out...

It’s called democracy bro.
hahahhahaha
Dem and Demmer!
Right? The post is so rich and chalked full of what we love about ole Roy. But the best part is that he has said his most truthful statement yet in that we shouldn't be up in arms about Newsome's dinner party. He's right, we shouldn't! Thanksgiving is back on baby!

Where are you Harambe? Show us some random video justifying this and then laugh in our faces.
I will be waiting...
You guys are obsessed with me, I love it.
The thread can't start until I get here :)
Anyway politicians are mostly idiots. I'm not surprised by this at all. Newsom seems to see the Gov. as just a stepping stone for even higher office but he's snarky on twitter so people probably like him??

I don't know about the others but I enjoy watching you making a fool of yourself so, I welcome you to the thread.

Another COVID-denier pokes their head up. Care to make any predictions that will be hilariously wrong in 2 months? Nobody's gotten one right yet.

Same here. The KTLA article explains that Newsom didn't expect so many people to be at the dinner until he got there. Instead of following his own rules, he tried not to be rude by staying. But he still should have left.
I'm a lifelong Republican but have never voted for Trump in any election because he has such a lack of integrity, among other things. His refusal to admit any wrong or acknowledge Biden's win is a disgrace.
I wish more politicians would be honest, transparent and admit their mistakes. Pelosi claimed she was set up and cast all the blame and hate on the hair stylist trying to make ends meet. Despicable.
I can't be that sympathetic to Newsom. He's the governor! Can't he just say: "Sorry, I was unaware this gathering would be in violation of the measures my administration has enacted" and then leave. When you're the governor you can be that Chad.
If you believe Newsome's excuse I've got some oceanfront property in Arizona for you. There is a simple explanation for Newsome's actions and Pelosi's and every other one of the hypercritical COVID rule-makers. They did not think they would be caught. It is as simple as that.
These people are not that smart. Everyone thinks they are playing 3D chess but politicians are actually playing tic tac toe. This is just a game to them, very few actually give a crap about COVID. They expect they can do whatever they want and get away with it.

You pea brains should try some new wording.
Some, probably most, people who disagree with the extreme measures and who hate your fear mongering are not "COVID-deniers".
I don't deny the existence of COVID.
So that is idiocy number 1 from you.
Second, I don't make predictions. Second fail from you.
Third - I will contradict myself and make one prediction: the handle "Harambe" will either cease to post within the next year or it will become a reality-denier/failed predictions-denier like Bad Wigins.
Have a nice day, hopefully with some explosive diarrhoea during your run (do you even run?).

Fake apology. He'll just be more discreet from here on out.
Also Trump never called for hard lock downs so his rallies and large gatherings weren't hypocritical.
