I saw 5:10, 10:19:15:29 -
Niwot - 4 in top 7, 14th place for 5th girl.
-
official 1 mile time was 5:01.7 per the meet timer, i eyeballed from a bad angle 15:20ish at 3 miles
-
From watching the stream I saw 5:10 but maybe the timer on the stream was off.

This is what I saw on the stream as well. The running clock on the screen was correct at the finish line, so it would seem that the 5:01 time was wrong. -
Seems odd they would have timer at wrong place, but then again a lot of strange things with the cart cam lagged by about 2 minutes, and just the speed of the course. So who really knows?
-
They didn't get any 1 mile splits from the boys race so I think the problem was with the timing mat at the 1 mile. On the video you can see hutchins cross the mat at around 5:10 or so on the running clock on the screen. When she finishes, the running clock on the screen was correct. So it would see that the time that came from the mats at the 1 mile was wrong. Probably did not get an accurate start time for the chip mats at the 1 mile mark. Should have had a better timing company. A good company would have had lire splits/results form each of the kilometers.
-
Seems a bit cheap. People calculated that a SR about 161 would get 16:00. I like records, but records set without shortcuts. Guess it does not matter.
-
Rainsbergers record was also on a very fast course (AZ).
-
Only 3 Niwot girls listed in the results. Did the chip not register for anyone else on Niwot?

That’s Kamari Miller up front.
Thanks. Im hoping he can stick on with whoever this kid that just took the lead is or it's gonna be a wash.
Looks like he faded to 5th
I guess Parker Wolfe wanted to start out slow and wait until the end to really get up to Kamari Miller. -
It is what it is, but everyone predict this. On another thread a 167 SR was calculated out to about 15:45. As I noted yesterday, if the course is acknowledged by everyone to be that fast is it really legitimate? I mean I guess it goes in the books. But some some records are more impressive than others.
-
Lol, these times are too good to be true. Somebody get a wheel on this course.
-
Part of what you realize following xc is that there is no uniformity. Courses have different degrees of difficulty. Distances are variable. Whatever. It all goes in the books just the same.

Higher quality version of cart cam with audio.
