Seems like most people out there are doing some kind of 5k TT in place of cross this fall. What were your best workouts, hardest workouts, favorite workouts?

Best: a 20 minute tempo
Hardest: fast, hilly long run
Favorite: progressive runs of 1h/1h10
Not going to TT 5K, but 400-mile. Best/favorite session was yesterday: 2xmile @tempo and 2x800 @ 5K pace on an XC course. 3m/6m rep/set recoveries. 10 min jog then 4x 100m hill cut down w/3m. Last rep was 1.5 sec off my PR for that hill. Feel great today and will jog a few.
I'm an 800 runner looking to run low 16s at the end of the fall, anywhere from 16:00-16:20 I would view as a success.
Best workout so far: 6x1k w/ 400 jog. 10k-3k pace.
Hardest: 3x 9 min (+pace every 3 minutes) on 3 min rest.
My favorite was: 4 x split 1200 (600, 200 jog, 400, 200 jog, 200). The 6/4/2 are all at v02max pace and the "jogs" are quick. Someone posted this workout on LR a month or two ago, this was a really good one and it's way harder than it looks.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
