I've seen my body really transform since starting running 5 years ago. My form has changed as my 5k pr came down from 22 mins to 17mins (30yr old hobby jogger here). I used to really feel my quads working and burning and getting that lactate feeling when running. I used to find it when running up hill, or running fast on the flats.
In all that time I've run races and workouts and hill reps and have done running focused strength training so my glutes have really developed as a consequence but and I never feel my quads, not even when I do leg exercises like lunges and squats. Has anyone experienced this change? Is it a bad thing? I've started developing all kinds of injuries this year and this occurred to me whilst trying to get to the route of the problem.
