Geoffrey Kamworor. kinda well known athlete, and no. Learn to use
www.google.com
Yeah, Kamworor is the most recent 1/2 WR-breaker, but he obviously meant Abraham Kiptum.

I don't have any information on this and is very unlikely, so i don't think this post is true.
Joshua will race the world half champs. There will be a new circuit, consisting of 4 loops, with some elevation change and enough tight turns. A very fast time will be unlikely in Gdynia too.
I also have info that indeed Joshua will attempt another world record this year, but not yet, in late november or december. And it won't be the half marathon.
Yes, I saw something about that in another thread s few weeks ago. It referenced him making an effort to reclaim his 10k road wr- somewhere in Asia, I think?

He is. This thread is fake news.
He should! then develop for the Marathon WR in a year or so as I said the other day. Time is now for him to go for these records. HM fitness is not monumentally different from 10k.

Nah, Gidey’s still only 22, won World Jr. XC championships in ‘15 & ‘17, ran 14:45-14:33-14:23 at 18-19-20 years old—and last year won WC silver at 10k, ran an 8:20 Ethiopian NR for 3k and set that ridiculous 15k world’s best. She never came out of nowhere. Aussiestatman was predicting she’d break the WR at Monaco back in August.
+1 Gidey isn't a nobody just because this site tells you about the great white runners of our time. That 15k was unreal.

Gidey out of nowhere? Go back to 4chan or wherever it is you came from. Or fanboying for Ingebritsen. Anyone who's paid attention to long-distance that doesn't know Gidey and what she was capable of is... something.
I have a hard time seeing a world record coming out of this race. It's a world championship, the main focus is going to be winning tactics, and the Kenyans probably know that a fast tough race from the gun would play straight into the hands of the Ugandan's, with world Cross country last year being a good example of that.
But based on what we've seen on the track this year Cheptegei and Kiplimo are in even better form than they were for XC world's... I think regardless of tactics the Ugandan's take this. If it comes down to a sprint finish Cheptegei has out kicked Yomif Kejelcha and has 12:35 5k speed, and Kiplimo can outspoken Jakob Ingebrigtsen and has 7:26 3k speed. If it's a fast race testing the athletes strength Cheptegei has run a 26:11 10k, and is the world cross country champion, and even has experience on the roads setting 2 world records, and Kiplimo was second behind him at world XC and has a good record on the roads himself.
Argue about shoes and lights and what not all you like but regardless of the means for the time being the Ugandans are taking over
I think the wavelights made all the difference the last couple times
Guess what I think made all the difference the last couple times: having the talent and fitness to run 12x60 second laps and 24x63 second laps.

Nah I agree with the other guy. Bekele definitely had the fitness to run that, he just didn't have a metronomic pacer beside him the entire race.

Gotta be either the 3000 or two mile world records belonging to Daniel Komen. If Cheptegei broke either or both of those his season would be truly ridiculous.
Henry Rono broke the 3000, 5000, 10000 and Steeple all in a few months.

No way. Probably road 10k.
If those races go ahead, probably yes. It remains to be seen whether Valencia will go ahead now the authorities are tightening some measures.

this is a trash post. this site discusses the hassans, kipyegons and Kosgeis plenty.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
