Will he do it ?
I say 65% chances he does.

The poster is posting thoughts echoed by many others - the rampant mechanical and traditional doping is resulting in performances that seems ridiculous to many.
I thought Cheptegei was racing the half marathon world championships on October 17th. Is he racing on the 23rd as well?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say he doesn't. I think the wavelights made all the difference the last couple times

OK, Bekele.
This is just getting ridiculous now. ?

I was amazed when he broke the 5k record. I was less enthusiastic about the 10k.
If he breaks the 5k, 10k and HM records in the span of two months (plus the 5k road just 6 months prior to all this), I have to assume something is amiss. Likely the wavelight/shoetech are helping more than we even realize.
I assume he's not doing any kind of chemical doping, since the scrutiny created by breaking all these records so close together should be intense.

I have some level of skepticism about the shoes/wavelight. With that said, I’m not sure why the records being broken within a few months would be a red flag. He’s in shape and there’s nothing to target besides records

I’d honestly be more excited about a half marathon WR. There’s no wavelight on the roads and the shoes will be the same. Plus it will hopefully show his future potential in the marathon.
So you're telling me that he using the Oct 17 HM as a TT, then a week later attempts to break the HM WR??

October 17 is the World Half championships, not a "TT."

OP is FOS.

I know Oct 17 is the world championship, I was inferring that he might only be focusing on winning on the 17th and not worry about the winning time (am sure it will be fast), and that on the 23rd he would focus on running at WR pace??

"TT" stands for time trial. "Focusing on winning and not worrying about the time" = not a TT. Get it?
He's not racing or attempting a WR or anything on the 23rd, so it's moot.

Nah, Gidey’s still only 22, won World Jr. XC championships in ‘15 & ‘17, ran 14:45-14:33-14:23 at 18-19-20 years old—and last year won WC silver at 10k, ran an 8:20 Ethiopian NR for 3k and set that ridiculous 15k world’s best. She never came out of nowhere. Aussiestatman was predicting she’d break the WR at Monaco back in August.
I don't understand.
Why not enter the official race on December 6th?

I don't have any information on this and is very unlikely, so i don't think this post is true.
Joshua will race the world half champs. There will be a new circuit, consisting of 4 loops, with some elevation change and enough tight turns. A very fast time will be unlikely in Gdynia too.
I also have info that indeed Joshua will attempt another world record this year, but not yet, in late november or december. And it won't be the half marathon.
wavelight/shoetech is available to all

Want the last dude who set the half WR popped for doping? Kiptum or something, some Kenyan out of nowhere.
