Every infection that stays in the body for some time will be able to increase the risk of alzheimer disease. Covid-19 often stays for a long time. One of the older MDs at work had the virus for almost two months. Covid-19 also attack different organs at somewhat random and can get to the brain. We will see long term effects of the virus starting to show maybe as much as 60 years after people got infected

Kind of interesting that a country (Belarus) where people are allowed to manage their own risks when it comes to germs is considered antidemocratic while France, a country many consider democratic,
is considering another set of tyrannical police enforced lockdowns in its capital.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2020/10/02/europe/paris-lockdown-coronavirus-europe-intl/index.htmlIt’s the same kind of double talk I hear from COVID fear mongers who consider Trump some-type of tyrant while at the same time often advocating for a police state in order to enforce a lockdown of society for a unspecified period of time.
I don't understand how this is a Republican victory? Trump needed hospitalisation.
The whole point of lockdown and Covid control measures is to avoid everyone needing to go to hospital at the same time.
That is the entire point.
Trump was able to be treated swiftly BECAUSE there wasn't hundreds of thousands all needing beds at the same time (although as a billionaire President I'm sure they would have made room anyway).

Not necessarily a Republican victory. It’s a victory for COVID-skeptics
The fact a obese 74 year old man was able to beat COVID in a matter of days helps demonstrate how overblown the virus is.

Or maybe it shows the importance of good swift government health care.

Probably a combination of the two.
Fact remains that COVID is treatable, as shown by Trump, even for the most vulnerable among us. No need to shut down society- the real need is to build up our infrastructure to handle the weak when they do catch COVID.
FYI, all:
On the GOP Facebook pages, people are saying--and *absolutely* believing--that the Dems, somehow, deliberately infected all of those White House/West Wing people.
And now the dead eyed racist has it ?

Hell, they are paid by this site! It's quite obvious.
Miller is Jewish. Are you sure he can be categorized as racist? Better check the Woke manual on that.

You’ve got to be smarter than that, that’s embarrassing.

Maybe you weren't aware Miller was Jewish? Or maybe you are an anti-semite looking to cast him in a bad light? Or maybe you just call everyone you disagree with a racist? If I had to rank those three rhetorical questions in order of likelihood, it would be 3, 1, 2.

This is correct. Instead of discriminating against the small business owner and the children who actually need a quality (essential?) in-person education, the healthy, non obese 0-65 year olds, and the already mentally fragile, start mass scaling remdisevir and Dexamethasone for those who REALLY need it. Vitamin D & zinc are already scalable & effective.
It’s amazing how many people overtly and secretly want Trump to succumb to this disease.
