Hey all,
I was running pretty regularly in March, trying to come back from two years of repeated injuries and problems prior, but quarantine threw everything aside so my last run apart from today was back in May. I abanoned that run because of how tight and tired I felt (also noticed my asthma being worse than usual) and have just felt motivated again recently to get back to running regularly. However, it feels like I've completely degenerated after the past 6 or so months of sitting down. After just half a mile today, I was exhausted, and calf muscles, which have always been a problem, compeltely seized up, meaning I had to half-limp back to my home after just a mile. Have I completely lost my fitness by being a couch potato all these months? How would you guys recommend getting back into regular running?
