800 race next Thursday, want to run fast. When's the last day I should be hitting a workout? I'm thinking some light threshold stuff like a 2-3 mile tempo and then a speed session of like 400-300-400 + 3x200 with long rests on Thursday would be appropriate.
Is a week of easy jogging and strides enough recovery? I might throw in like 3x200 after an easy run sometime next week but nothing too stressful.
