For the sake of argument, let's assume that global warming is happening, that it's 100% caused by humans, and that there are no positive impacts from an increase in CO2 or temperatures.
With that said, what's the point of taking individual action like driving a hybrid (or going car-free) instead of driving a gas-guzzling Hummer? Do you really think you are making a difference? If 100+ countries going on lockdown for months barely slows down the rate at which CO2 is increasing, what's the point of you buying that Prius? Are you that special?

Clicking on "Can we see a change in the CO2 record because of COVID-19?" gives this statement:
"The International Energy Agency expects global CO2 emissions to drop by 8% this year. Clearly, we cannot see a global effect like that in less than a year."
All of that just for an 8% drop. If you wanted a 50% drop, the entire world would need to have a permanent Wuhan-style lockdown, and even that would mean that the temperature increase would occur 40 years from now instead of 20 years from now.
