With Mo Farah just confirmed to run, this field for the Antrim Coast half marathon in Northern Ireland is looking like it will provide a brilliant spectacle after all this time without racing...

Isn't that pretty close to the one hour WR attempt?
-
A week later. He should be fine - PB incoming.
-
It's a shame they cancelled the mass start race. I was signed up but wasn't really fit to run anyway. I'll be watching on the live-stream.
-
Mo should go race the half marathon in Prague instead of ducking the competition. Why not go after the most legitimate WR of around an hour in duration, the half marathon? Is he scared to race 35 of the top distance runners and come in around 10th place?

It's an Adidas event to promote their new super shoe. Mo is a Nike athlete -
I'm excited as I happen to back in Northern Ireland on the 12th. Wondering whether it'll be worth to drive over to watch IRL.
-
Can he get under 59?
-
More exciting is that I’ll be running it too.
Predicting a solid bottom 5 finish. Watch out world. -

going for two sub-60/HM's in a week?... idk.. -
The one hour record attempt is stupid. He should drop the record attempt and run the half instead.
Hm is practically one hour anyway, just go after that. -
Should be a good domestic race. I am hoping Marc Scott beats him but this could prove difficult in his debut at the distance even though I think Scott is capable of a sub 61 min clocking on current form and taking into account his recent 13.20 5km and 7.43 3km.
Scott will also be coming of the GB track 5,000 champs this weekend which he should win handily. -

If Scott can make as successful a debut as that, we could have four or five under the Northern Ireland all-comers record of 62.22.
Mo, Connor, Overall, Dewi G., and Scott.
Among the women, Partridge and Samantha Harrison get a warm-up for next month's world champs and Lily has London in between. Connor also is lining up for all three. -
Gemma Steel and Jo Pavey would be happy to get within 3 minutes of their sub 69 min PB's from 2014 and 2008. Aly Dixon is the WR over 50k so this will be too short to suit her.

There are more competing than are on those lists I think.
I reckon Becky Briggs is good for a top 5 run. -

what will the final list be, the website is all over the place -
Interesting to read Mo was looking for pacers. Seems like isn't satisfied with just the hour record. Could the UK and European records be under thread?

I’d say yes but it’s up to him. The win may be enough. And is it a quick enough course? -
i read he wanted pacing to go under 59:32.
